Wales

I have been lucky enough to visit Wales multiple times during several seasons. The stark beauty of the country is breathtaking. I love the sheep. And they are everywhere. Almost as many as in New Zealand. I love the cold and rainy weather, although not ideal for cycling, it makes for beautifully green hillsides. And the trail running is amazing. The Brecon Beacons is an area I have only visited in winter, but can image in summer it is a trail runner’s paradise with long days and possibly even occasional sunshine.
